Dams Karangkates or so-called dam Karangkates Sutami located in the village, subdistrict Sumberpucung. Water from the dam is from the Brantas river and have been built since 1975-1977 and used as hydropower.
Besides being used as a hydroelectric power dam has become one of the Malang tourism and has been equipped with several amenities such as sports vehicle, where trout fishing, tennis to golf courses.
Travel Karangkates park has two locations, namely Karangkates tourist park located to the north of the dam and park Sutami Lahor Dam located on the south dam Lahor.
